i live in canada and the thing launches on may 28th,
if my mall opens at 10 AM and i ll probably get there at around 10:30 AM,
how long do i have to wait for the ipad?
I bought my ipad on the day they released it in US. They didn’t release them until 5pm on April 30th. I was going to buy 2 of the biggest with 3G. I walked up at 6:30pm and asked if they had any left (they did) and then asked where the line began. There wasn’t any line at that point. They said there was a line at the beginning but they went through it by the time I got there. Good Luck! It’s fun.

so i was planning to buy a ipad at the apple store on april 3 but apple said that they wont have it to april 12 so im confused can some one help me out
This has actually tricked me many times before, but i have the definite answer right here:
If u were planning on pre-ordering one online: The pre-orders started on March 12th, and at that time it said that it would be shipped to people’s homes on April 3rd. But NOW the apple store has met its 700,000 ipad limit yesterday (saturday), so any new orders will be shipped on April 12th. <<
If u were planning on reserving one for pick-up on the 3rd, or just heading down there 2 try to get one on that date: u still can on April 3rd. Since part of the 700,000 ipads r already reserved 4 the store, the April 3rd date for reserving or attempting to pick it up without reserving it stays the same.
For any kind of serious work, a MacBook. The iPad is not a laptop. It is an e-reader and a toy. And besides, you’d need a laptop in addition to the iPad anyway, to sync with it and transfer files back and forth. Even the largest iPad, in terms of memory, can’t compete with even a lower-end laptop.
