Try this when your at the point where it’s looks like it froze and you see a black screen, don’t x- out of redsn0w nor freak out and try to reboot your phone…. Just unplug and re-plug the usb quickly either from the computer or the end that’s connected to the phone, wait a bit and it should go on it’s merry way! That has always worked for me..

Has anyone tried the sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 3GS (old bootrom) jailbreak? it also claims to maintain the baseband (assuming you haven’t already updated to stock 3.1.3) so you can unlock v is blacksn0w too.

Ok… On iPhone 3G this does not work I have tried a couple of times and nothing. You should test them out on iPhones, the steps are different from the iTouch. The problem is that the iphone freezes to a black screen and you have to reboot it completely again…
